I ordered this bow on May 12, 2010. It arrived yesterday, September 10th. I was in a tree bowhunting when my wife picked up the bow at the USPS.
The bow is LH, 60", 47.6#@26". The limbs are Snakebit and Myrtle. The riser is Snakebit and Macassar. Norm did a terrific job selecting the woods, making it the draw weight I wanted, and of course his famous workmanship. The fit and finish is amazing.
I just realized the compass I wanted below the grip didn't get installed. I reckon elk season and making 12 bows at once....? I'm sure Norm will make this right when he and I talk about in a couple weeks.
The bow came with a couple whiskers and a brass locator set at 5/8". I replaced the brass with tied on locators. I paper-tuned the bow as he sent it at 6', 10', and 21' -- bullet holes! I was surprised I didnt have to at least adjust the locator down an 1/8".
I deleted three photos that are likley too large. I pasted smaller version in the next post below.
Here are a couple pictures.

Wow! If you gotta wait a year - thats the bow to wait for!
I got a Blacktail myself from Norm about 7 years ago- and had a year wait then.
Norm is a great guy and a true craftsman.
Congratulations on your bow!
Beautiful! A fabulous bow in every way.
I'm on the list for a Snakebit too. That's the first one I've seen with Macassar ebony, makes a nice combo. I've been having a hard enough time deciding between Myrtle and Lacewood limb veneers. Now I have to consider Macasser instead of black ebony in the riser.

I'm a fan of Macassar because I like the brown streaking in highly figured Maccassar.
The pictures I posted above could be too large. In case they are and must be deleted, I've pasted smaller versions of three below:

Awsome snakewood!!
Thanks guys. It is nice to have a Blacktail back in the house. I re-did the whiskers according to the video the fellows in Hawaii posted a week or so ago (this is the second bow I've re-whiskered after seeing the video).
Nice Roy!
wow that is one pretty bow!!!
By the way, those 5 arrows are the first I shot out of the bow at 20 yards. I did a little checking at 10 yards in the basement before going outside.
Roy, Very, very nice bow. Love those woods.
sweet.
Very nice wood combination. A work of art.
What a nice bow:)
Congratulations!
Congrats, that thing is gorgeous. I am finally shooting one that I bought used.
I love the pattern of the Leopard wood in the handle. I'm afraid I would spend some of my hunting time staring at it!
None prettier.
Holy cow! - That's a beauty.
OUTSTANDING! Another one of Norm's works of art!
Dreams do come true.
She is indeed a piece of artistry.
Congrats!
Stunning!...enjoy
Oh my!!! That is truly BREATHTAKING!!
Now you know darn well that you can't get away with posting those few pics. When you have something that is that unreal, it is MANDATORY that you flood this thread with pics. In fact I think it's a misdemeanor in some states.
More pics....get to it!
Congrats on such a bow.
