What should I use to keep my broadheads from geting rust on the sharpened edges?
VASELINE.
I've also heard of people using chapstick. 3rivers sells a coating called protect-a-edge for that purpose too.
Been using Chapstick for years.
Chapstick here.
The wife's clear fingernail polish!
Sharpie. :biglaugh:
A product called "Reel Magic" works great too. Made to spray fishing reels and line. It dries totally odorless, I think its a silicone base. But it doesnt leave residue and I respray whenever I touch up the heads. Leaves a very slick finish.
Before this, I used corn oil, chapstick or beeswax.
2x Vaseline
I use string wax, works for me!

I used some recently. Figured whyt not. I can always just melt it off.
Shouldn't hurt anything, right?
Vaseline, used it for years. Kind of like cosmoline on a gun.
Sharpie felt tipped pen.
I dip mine in vaseline while they are still warm from the glue.
X2 on the sharpie.
x4 on the vaseline
x5 with vaseline
run them through a fat critter. =) jk jk. silicone base for me. =)
I use a thin coating of WD40 or honing oil.
Same as Jason.
If you're going to use Vaseline, make sure and wipe it off after applying so there's no excess.... I've heard it can have coagulating properties.
I just use a black sharpie marker. Sime and does the trick and will not leave a residue inside your quiver.
What ever you use, watch the chemical content of the product, and don't use silicone.
I use string wax made from bees wax.
Chapstick for years on mine
I just spray em with silicone spray...same thing i use on my gun....doesnt attract dirt
Move to a drier climate :biglaugh:
Wintergreen chapstick!

I wouldn't use VASELINE because its a blood clotter, and wouldn't want that on my broadheads. I never knew that till last year, good tid bit though.
Been using a black Sharpie followed by a thin coat of Vaseline applied with a Q-Tip for years.
Nothing, hit em with a file if needed.
Beeswax
