does that RADA sharpener work on 3 bladed heads???? Thanks.

Not sure about those carbide wheels...I do know that those old Bear sharpening tool with the angled, small carbide bits work for touching up in the field. Gives a hollow ground edge...
Still...nothing beats a good 10 mil file and leather strop.
sounds simple enough. I hate to think about the wads of money we have all spent on sharpening gadgets when if we would just spend $10 on a file and $2 on a scrap piece of leather we'd figure it out!!!
I got one a few weeks ago and some Simmons sharks. The first one I tried it one with 10 strokes through the Rada would shave hair! I had to give it some help-didn't pop-but it was sharp.
Read on here to hold the BH at an angle. That's what I did and it worked.
Don't know about 3 blades-but the way it's built, I don't know why it wouldn't work with them.

I have a Rada and it helps to get the edge, but not shaving sharp. Maybe I should try the angle trick. I hear it works for Accusharps as well.
Any tips?
It will work on a three blade.

What exactly do you mean about ANGLE ? I can get my heads sharp, but if I can get them a little sharper Im all ears? Thanks.
The angle worked for me. Onlyaspike, there's a thread on here somewhere..I forgot where..that explains the angle to use with Rada.
Been looking on search for half an hour. No luck. Keep the point down not parallel to the bench.
That was for a concave BH-Don't know about 3 blades.

Hot Hap is right..keep the point down. I just touched up some Simmons Interceptors and Ace Standards to shaving sharp with the Rada. You will know when you have enough angle when you start to feel a little pull on the blade. Also will see some metal shavings on the Rada base. Lighten up for the last few strokes.
RADA will sharpen all of them. In eight strokes I can get my Snuffers to shave hair and any other head as well. It's almost too good to be true.
I wish I would have figured this out 4 yrs. ago. I finally gave up on woodsmans. May give them another try.
I know the rada can get Zwickeys very sharp. Wish it worked on the bleeders.
