G'day all,
I see on GFA's website they have released "Evening Stand Green" and "Evening Stand Brown".
I like both these plaids but the pic of evening stand green is a little over exposed due to the sunlight when the pic was taken... I was hopen someone on here had a pic or two with this 'camo' in the outdoors?
I was planning on placen my order for one of their wool tops... it's just now I don't know what colour to choose!
Cheers,
ak.
Why don't you e-mail them and see if they can send you a better picture.
Funny you should bring this up. I just ordered, today, an evening stand green pullover after having Theresa send me a different picture. Like you I was not really able to tell what the pattern looked like on the web site. Can't wait to get it - hopefully before heading out to Idaho for fall bear.
Her e-mail is tasbell22@msn.com
Good luck with your decision. I like the fact that it is a heavier wool.
Far as I can tell, the ONLY difference is in the color of the vertical striping. As it is, I am getting old and I can actually look at the picture and hardly even see the vertical stripe, then change focus and BAM there it is. I will order one shortly. I was really upset at myself for missing out before.
Not only is it really a good plaid, but it looks really nice too. . I mean, as in dressy.

I ordered about a month ago and this wasn't available then. I got the shadow plaid. Wishin' I would've waited a bit longer. I guess it's OK to have two :)
I hunt in tall pines so the evening shade brown will be my next one.
I ordered a brown one today.
No pic, but Evening Stand green and brown are both incredible camoflauge. Green for spring and pines, brown for everything else.
IF most animals are colorblind, and IF motion is the main factor in getting busted - what difference does the color (green v. brown) make?
I just ordered a brown and added a haversack I have wanted on of this pullover plaids in evening brown for a long time now!!!!
I am excited !!!

I have 4 of her shirts and love them.
Just be carefull of what thickness you want or more like what temps you want them for.
My grey makinaw is a heavy blanket and great for the cold. I dont feel wind or cold through it. My northern lights is much thinner and will be great for those 40-50 deg. days.
I just received a pullover in Montana Magic and I really like that color pattern. Looking forward to this fall when I can try it out in the deer woods.
