I have been teaching my nephew Mike since last summer.I am sure some of you remember him from JLMBH last February.
This year, my almost four year old, Jace, couldnt want to "shoot the real bows" with us.
I have to brag a bit. Both of these kids, for their ages, are pretty impressive. I have a feeling it wont be long until I am posting hero pics of these two. Both are already begging to go small gaming.

GOOD MAN ISHI!! Thats The Stuff!! :archer2:
Looks like a shooters paradise too. VERY lucky kids! (shooting really nice bows!)
Way to keep the tradition alive!! Good on you IshI
That's too cool!!! I have twin nephews who are starting to get into shooting, too. One is right handed the other's a lefty. Have you found it to be more difficult teaching the lefty than the right handed one? I have, just wondering if that's typical. TRW
I am having a little bit of a tough time teaching lefty as I am a righty.
YORNOC, the 12 year old's bow was made by Crimsonmist on here. Olequa bows. A single piece of ash with riser lams.
The ELB my son is shooting was a gift to him from McGroundstalker. It is still a bit too long for him. Lol. I beliieve it was made in the 40's.
And thanks for saying my backyard is paradise-like. I agree. Lol.
Very cool Jamie!!
Way to go Jamie.Hopefully you will feel well enough to hunt this season.Best of luck.

How much better could it be than to see the yougins enthusiatsically sharing your passion?
Wonderful moments of great imagery that will remain with you and hopefully with them.
ishiwannabe, can you take them small gaming? May not shoot a rabbit but they will never forget it.
Yes I can, and I plan on it. They love Bill Langer dvd's and can't wait to go. May even do some froggin with em on the pond. Memories just waiting to be made.
Thanks everyone.

Ahhhhhhhh, that there is what dreams are made of. Nothing better than family but spending time with family and bows. Live the life Jamie, Im happy for you.
Thanks Iz. I plan on it. Can't wait to bring little man hunting...to see him learn about natuure.
