Enjoy these pics.
This was my 3rd try for an aerial goose with the recurve on the flats. The river was very calm and pretty despite the hurricane. I had a few shots in the air and a couple misses. One pair landed in the decoys and I launched 3 before they flew out. My shotgun backup was out chasing a cripple. I recreated the shot and figured out my bottom limb hit the water on the shots causing me to shoot low...Oh well...good lesson.
I got this nice shiner now when I went to throw out a decoy from the boat and threw out a weight that was connected to a decoy still on the boat holder...ouch! Dummy !
I'll try again next year! On to Colorado Friday for elk!

That shiner looks like it hurts, glad you had a good time.
Good luck elk hunting.

I just love waterfowl hunting with a bow. Alot of fun isn't it?
Body Booting, awesome fun.
Thanks for sharing.
Wow!
This is something I would like to try:)
Thanks for sharing.
Whoa! Looks like the Greygoose might ought to, uh, duck. Great pictures!
That sounds like a blast. Dude, that shiner looks like it hurts. Good luck elk hunting, hopefully you won't injure yourself using those decoys. TRW
You didn't mention you were body booting. I used to do that for years and years up there. Who did you go out with?
I have a zipper Aquala dry suit (body boot) for sale if you know anyone interested.
Geese drive me nuts with a gun. I couldn't imagine a trad bow. Nice pics!

Early season you do not need a dry suit. I used my scuba wetsuit but brother just got wet. Waders are ok till the tide gets close to the top and you can't hunker down low!
I went out with my brother who lives in Havre De Grace.
