Title: Shrew Model T what do you think?
Post by: Zradix on September 01, 2011, 10:21:00 AM
Hey guys and gals

Any of you try out a model T?

I've read MANY great things about shrews.
This bow seems to be in a bit of a separate category than the rest.

My thoughts were if a shorter shrew is such a nice bow a bit longer one should be incredibly nice to shoot.

What say you?

Thanks!

That name was used on a Jennings compound bow back in the 70's, one of the first compounds on the market. I'm surprised the name was resurrected for a stick bow.

I love my Model-T.  I almost slipped and sold it but luckily nobody bit and she still resides on my bow rack.  They are amazingly smooth and I love the extra mass in the riser.  It still has the Shrew grip and imo that is one of the best grips out there.

Zradix to me the best all around Shrew that has the perfect blend of everything is the 58in. Super shrew . Im srue the Model T is very nice as all shrews are but I think 58in. in the Shrew is about perfect for smoothness of draw and accuracy .

Never had a chance to shoot one. But I'm sure it's a real shooter. All Shrews are !!!

Tim,

That is a beautiful bow! I know it must be a real shooter. It's funny to think that it is REALLY long for a Shrew at only 64".

Thanks guys it is a great bow and I am glad that in my fit of insanity it did not sell.

The bow has a Kingwood riser, waterfall bubinga limb veneers, with foam and carbon limbs.

Allan, These bows are great and a dream to shoot like all the Shrew bows are.  I do still prefer my Classic Hunters and my Lil' Favorite for hunting purposes.
