3 lamination's of hand tempered bamboo(pre-tillered before glass is added) with a Myrtle riser and brown glass back and belly.

The 1st six and at 10 yards ans the seventh I shot at 30 yards while going to get the camera.
The 30 yard shot is on the far left of the group.

Nice shooting! And a beautiful bow too :archer:
nice looking bow roy.
What a beautiful bow!
Congrats!
Very nice shooting! You're not planning on using that bow for the next Fun Shoot, are you? Cause if you are, we'll need to know in advance. We might need to mentally prepare ourselves. I'd rather prepare myself for a whoopin', than be surprised by it.
awesome bow and even better shooting! congrats on both counts master mudd!
Sweet Shooter there Mudd! Congrats!
A Beauty and it looks like it suits you just fine!! Congrats!!
Dave Miller builds an awesome longbow limb timing and tillering are his main priorit and his attention to detai makes for one sweet shooting bow that looks as good as shoots.
Thats a beauty Mudd. Shoots like a dream. Congratulations!
Roy is that a Hill Style Bow or a reflex deflex like my 'Hawks?  :archer: :archer2:
Very nice bow by a real master of the Hill style.
The bow, the arrows, the quiver, the pictures and the group! All look fantastic to me, Mudd. Congrats!
Bentpole "Scratches" is a string follow Hill style tillered just the way Howard made his.
The hand tempered bamboo was tillered before any glass was added.
Sure makes for a sweet shooting bow.
God bless,Mudd
That's a real beauty, and some fine shooting!
That looks great Mudd, wish i could shoot groups like that with a new bow first time
Thx for sharing!
That's just terrible, that 30 yarder was WAY left :p ;) :)

Hey Mudd, I got a crisp $20 in my wallet, how about when I am Columbia next month I just bring that back home to Illinois with me? It will go good next to my Old Tom. HA HA. Congrats told you it was pure magic didn't I? I am visiting David next month as well and will tell him you was going to give it to me cause it don't shoot well. HA. SWEET.
Flint I believe this one is a keeper but you might talk me into parting with my Northern Mist Whisper..lol
I've already talked with David so he might just have some doubts about your story..lol
God bless,Mudd
Nice bow Mudd, I really like mine. Really nice group, but that is what makes them worth the wait :clapper:

I think you know my "Roi"(Osage Royale) isn't going anywhere.
But I have to give you credit for trying...lol
God bless,Mudd
Miller Old Tom is on my next bow list. I love the look and they seem like fantastic bows! For now, my Hill will serve me well for a few years though...

Hey Mudd -
Looks like you really have a keeper there my brother. Really like the brown glass. If you ever get the itchy trade/sell finger on this one, Just remember that it will have a home in Texas.
Thanks Danny!
I would say something but I'm old enough and wise enough to try and avoid the word "never" any more...lol
I do believe this one to be a "Keeper".
God bless,Mudd
Good lookin' bow Roy. Hope to shoot it soon.
"Scratches" is a killer!
Here is my 1st bear with him.

That really is one sweet Miller, Mudd. Looks a lot like the one I just got. The brown glass is beautiful. Love it on my Old Tom. I like it much better than black.
Question for you, Roy. What do you have the brace height set at on your bow? Mine's a 64" and I have it at 6.25, but I haven't messed with it much. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind words Mike.
I have mine at around 5 and 1/2", just guessing, could be closer to 6 but I don't think so.
God bless,Mudd
Guys, I have my Old Tom set a 6 inches just a tad over and it shoots good there. Mudd strings sliencers oh no!!! HA HA Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
I took that string off of another bow because all David sends with it is two 14 strand B50 strings.
It is a touch faster with the skinny string but the noise level didn't change and the strings he sent did not have silencers.
God bless,Mudd
I set my Fistmele on my Ol' Tom at just on 6" .
Mudd, I got a fastflight one from David if you want to try it out?
