I got a pair of muck wetlands this year and have patiently waited for a cool enough day to try them out. About a mile into a squirrel/scouting trip the boots felt great but nature was calling on line 2. As I rolled them down I remembered they are blaze orange inside.
I can appreciate the saftey benifits in gun season but the whole time I keep thinking one of these days these boots are going to give some hiker/mountain biker a good story to tell.

That reminds me of a story. My nephew just adopted a 4 year old. We meet my Mom and Dad every Saturday for breakfast and nephew, his wife and new son were there one time. New great-nephew had to go to the bathroom. I asked him #1 or #2, he held up 5 fingers. I took that as 2-#2's and 1-#1! :biglaugh:
They don't make that model any longer.
Bill,
Cabelas, Basspro, Gander, and Muck still have them. Did they just change the orange?
Being seen would be better than someone firing a bullet at you thinking they see a deer tail..
I have to say that at the Cabelas in Maine they ain't got them and they haven't had them for some time. I see on their website, they have a side zipper model with the orange interior.
