I don't think they have Ibex in Africa. The black animal with similar horns to an ibex is the male Sable.

Great pics. Were you hunting in South Africa? What outfit?

Those sable were real cool, but had a VERY high price tag,LOL. Way too much for me.

When I lived in Africa we had a little monkey like that one who used to come down and "groom us" and we would feed him fruit. It was so cool! I hope to get back there and hunt one day. Those pics are making me "home sick!"

For those who asked, I used My 52#, T/D Maddog bow. Arrows were 35/55 GT blems w/ 225grs up front and a magnus stinger head. I got penetration up to the fletching.
