Title: "Creaky" Bateman Tab
Post by: Green on August 24, 2011, 08:19:00 PM
I've been shooting a Bateman Cordovan tab for about 3 months now.  At full draw and when continuing to pull through the shot, the tab "creaks"....loud enough that it'll mostly likely spook anything within 20 yards unless the wind is up.

What would be the best thing to apply...talc, cornstarch? Or something else entirely.  I draw 29" and my Whip is 60" long so the string angle might have something to do with it.  Hopefully some of y'all have solved this problem and can offer up some ideas.  Thanks...Rob

I had the same problem with a glove, my bowstring wax fixed it right up.
