Post by: JAG on August 24, 2011, 02:09:00 PM
Looking for some Grizzley Broadheads.  190/200 R/W.  Anyone got some or know where I can find some.  Want to give them to a friend.
Thanks, Johnny/JAG

Try Brave Heart Archery they are a sponser here. If they don't have the Grizley heads you might consider the Tusker Concord heads and they are pre sharpened by KME.

JAG, there is ALOT of people wondering about the Grizzlies as of lately. Do a search and you will have enough to read. Unfortuntaly, no one knows exactley whats going on with them. I know one thing though, they are few and far between.

Mostly everyone I had talked with are in the same boat as you are. Thank god I still have 14 of them left! Hopefully more sooner then later, this issue will be resolved..

Making broadheads isn't a priority for the people who own that company, even though they do a good job when they actually make them. They're just too busy doing other things. The shortage has been for a few years now. Soon they'll be like Pearson Deadheads - collectors' items.

It's a side line business for them. When they decide to manufacture them, one needs to stock up. When they don't manufacture them, we get what we have now. One can't find any.

Mike Knefly, who does the Denton Hill shoot, is into managing ski areas. He also has Allegahny Arrows and Grizzly heads. It's an all family affair and sometimes that isn't good.

Don't forget Zwickeys. They make the No Mercy in a single bevel, right or left. Deltas work for me.
