I got a new to me bow and it shoots a 2018 arrow 29" long with a 190 grain broadhead like a bullet. A perfect balance in arrow weight for my eye as far as what I`m used to shooting so there is no relearning period with this "new" bow. Only problem is I only have one 2018!!! I want to buy some carbons and was wondering what carbon arrow you carbon wise fellers would recommend to be awful close to the arrow I`m shooting.I`m looking at the beeman hunters....cause they cheap.Thanks,RC.
Sent you an email...but you'll get lots of suggestions...give it time! :)
RC, what bow are ya shooting. Give us some details and I can get ya darn close. #age, cut to or past center. Sounds like a .500 spine but need more info. Shawn
Matlock Predator X3. 51@27. Cut not quite to center. It is a Smoker. Thanks Guys.RC
ARROW DYNAMICS
Any of the Trads or Trad lites
I agree with Chuck!
A CE Heritage 150 spines at .487 and is 10 gpi. Pretty heavy for a carbon of this spine. I bet if you cut it short say 28-29 inches it should bareshaft for you with your 190 grain heads.
RC why not pick up some 2018. They are a tough shaft and you got that side figured out. If they still make them I would go that route. The carbon shafts maybe a real learning curve despite the recommendations that are being made and it is not cheap. Just my opinion, tom.
looks like you maybe into some 2018's.
Might think about this also.

RC, if you are interested PM me your address and I'll send you some carbon shafts. You can use them as long as you like. Fletch them or leave them bare. some are cut to 29" BOP and a couple are full length. Includes Grizzly Stiks, Trad Only and Arrow Dynamics. When you're done with them pass them on to some one else.
Scott
Good on you Scott.
Great offer Scott and thank you but A friend has "loaned" me a couple to try and I`m buying some 2018`s from a TradGanger so all is well. Thanks guys and thanks again Scott. I`ve said before. There is plenty of good folks shooting stickbows.RC
For the bows I want to shoot carbon out of, I ended up just using the Arrow Dynamics arrows. They are so forgiving of spine, I just put on the point weight I want and do some fine tuning with the brace height. The Hammerheads are really tough, too.
RC I shoot 2018`s and gt 35/55`s cut the same length with 200 up front on both and they same pretty close to me but I`m sure you`ll get tons of answers
RC,
I've got several types of carbons all cut to 29 BOP. If I ever run into you at Stewart we can try a few on your new bow.
BTW. Congrats on the new bow.
Randy
Agree with a few guys up top. Arrow Dynamics, I have only shot the Hammerhead lites very spine tolerant in many different bows. I have tried Trad onlys, Gold tip and CE Heritages and have been most happy with AD!
