I was doing some major garage cleaning that required rearranging all my bow stuff. In doing so I decided to take a few shots with what was my "go to" bow for several years. It's a Shadow "Phantom" made by Vince Yak. It was my first longbow and chosen due to a number of discussions here on the Trad Gang and with Vince over the phone. I now wish I had bought other models of his work as I understand he is no longer building any bows. Anyway I thought I'd share the pics below and am certain this bow won't sit idle for any length of time going forward.

Very nice photos. What are your "friend's" specifications with regards to length and poundage?

60", 50# @ 28". It's very quite and smooth to draw.
