I was just surfing the web and found this product. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable using as a treestand but can see definite advantages on the ground. Silent turning and hiding behind the tree rather than in front with traditional strapon seats. Has anyone seen or use this product? Any idea what it weighs? Check out both their videos. Pretty innovative idea.

Dang, I'm afraid I would be so busy sleeping that I would forget I was hunting.

Tracey......that is not a true statement. There is no problem with this post.
My wife has one of those hanging wicker chairs in the garage. Maybe I could borrow it. :biglaugh:
That looks really nice. The only problem I see is that if you use it as a treestand you'd have to have a limb to rest your feet on. What if your butt gets tired of sitting? Be great for turkey or any type of ground hunting!
Glenn
I am a treestand guy, but there is NO WAY that I would climb into that thing at hunting height.
It looks good for ground hunting, but not as a treestand.
I had time to come back and look at this.
1st....why does EVERYONE have to use that Head Banger I'm a Billy Joe Bass A$$ music???? Dang I get so sick of hearing that stuff.
2nd...Did anyone watch the video clip?
Wanna talk about short draw - target panic? Geeeezz...it looked like that guy have never drawn a bow and crapped in his pants when he let go. When I see stuff like that, I immediately discount the product.
Oh boy Kille should have some great remarks on the title of this topic!!

I just read Charlie's old turkey wind thread, then seen the title of this one and thought the same thing,LOL. When the thought first crossed my mind I was like Charlie when he was poking the birds in the feet. LOL. But I don't think that I could sit in that thing close to the ground much less hanging in a tree near average stand height.
At least with the seatbelt feature if it lets go from the tree you'll be safely strapped in all the way down, is that an airbag on the side?
I saw this stand at the hunting show in Fort Worth this past weekend. You have to have a limb to rest your feet on and the bracket that you hang it from is fairly substantial meaning this wouldnt be the best "move around" stand.
However, it was comfortable and quiet. I would like to try one out.
:scared: :notworthy:  I'm not even gonna say what I think.
Nice to see some out of the box thinking.
Terry...That shooting vid...the guy looked like he was playing a harp...lol
I wonder how tall you can be,
In the non-hunting info vid his head looked to be close to the top of the chair.
Also, it seems to me you might be moving/twisting around more in this seat. Just because it's hanging there with no fixed position.
Everytime you move your feet a bit you'll be turning/spinning a bit...
Seems it would be hard to keep still.
