I just got back from the Michigan Longbow Shoot, and talked with Joe Neat from Ohio. I bought some bamboo arrows from him last year and just love them. I shot a real nice buck in Wisconsin with them and just love them. Like I said in past posts the things shoot great. And I can shoot them off all my bow's from 44lbs-57lbs., with no worries about spine. I'd like to hear from anyone with any experience with these bamboo arrows. I hope to put one through a buffalo this year.
It was nice talking to you Gary,i enjoyed our visit.
i also talked with Joe for a good little while. He really likes them Boo Arrows.
Good luck with your buffalo.

I don't know if it's the boo/cane's naturally tapered shape, or it's make-up, but I've noticed better speeds over wood dowelled arrows with this type material. Great arrow material in my opinion........Art
I'll attest to what Art says. I learned what I know about cane arrows from Art! d;^) Cane/bamboo does make excellent arrows and they are tough as nails and fly great!!!
Does anyone know of some cane arrow building sites? I have a good selection of stone points i have been wanting to put on some cane arrows to hog hunt with.
Matt
Do you have contact info for Joe Neat, or someone selling Boo arrows or shafts? I've been wanting to try them.
I have a few bundles of shafts left Danny. Let me know what you are looking for.

Gotta wear the loincloth to hunt buff, Gary. Don't wear the horn-hat though or he might mistake you for another bull....or worse yet, a cow...
That is not a good picture to paint Ryan.
Joe Neat lives in Ohio, his phone number is 513-868-0832. Give him a call tell him I sent you. He is a great guy.
