Title: Fletch Tape on Arrow Wraps?
Post by: Weasel on August 16, 2011, 08:20:00 PM
I just read here where lots of folks love the fletching tape, but didn't see mention of aroow wraps.  Have any of you used it with arrow wraps?

Thanks!

Jerry

Jerry,
Yup! I have used it on arrow wraps many times with no problem.

All the time.  Works great for me.  Jerry, I like to put a drop of glue front and back and also a 1/2" bead along the feather shaft midway after mounting them.  Since doing that I have never had any shift even in hot weather.

It will work great when used on arrow wraps.  Just put a drop of fletchtite on the front and back of the feather.  It is alot faster than just using glue.

Love to use the fletch tape on wraps.  Very Simple and clean process.

I do the same as everyone else.  A drop of glue front and back helps a bunch.

Good luck, cant wait to see your pictures.

Thanks Jack.  I'm actually using two different wraps on each shaft.  3-1/2" of reflective white at the nock end with 6" of some orange flame job below it. After spending too long looking for an arrow (hit a deer right at dusk) with a flashlight after dark I decided to go with the reflective wrap and white nock. My beloved orange cap with orange feathers and nock just didn't work out that well for me in the above scenario.
