Well ever since I went on my first Elk hunt at the age of 14 I have been an Elkoholic. My fondest memories are those spent in the Elk woods each September with my longbow looking to outwit my dream Bull. This has been such a big part of my life for so many years I have often thought about having a tattoo done. This year it came together and I found an artist I knew could do the picture of my dream bull justice. 15 hours and a lot of pokin later I have my Bull..... Terry

Better keep that covered in the mountains. You'll either be shot in the leg or have a bull attack ya. :D
Looks good!
Good lookin Tat.
Good Luck this September
Very nice, artist did a great job.
Excellent work!
Nice tat,he done a good job.
Wow, that's incredible. Almost like it was air brushed. That artist has talent.
Thanks guys.... I was amazed myself when I saw what he had done. You can't see it in the pic because the tatt wraps around my leg a bit but his background work is just as impressive...... Terry
Very Very nice!
Looks very nice Terry. Good detail on the Elk.

We think alike..... He and I have already talked about doing just that.... LOL
This year is my 40th year hunting. My first hunt was an Elk hunt with my Dad and a good family friend when I was 14 and I have been hooked on Elk and hunting in general ever since.
This tattoo represents many years of great memories for me. When I look back the joy of hunting is about the animals I have matched wits with and the outdoor experiences I have been blessed enough to enjoy. The killing is icing on the cake but secondary to the journey.
Every time I look at this tattoo It will take me back to those special times and places.
I love the way this one turned out but don't think I will be doing any more... :)
If I were ever to get one it would look like that! My wife say's no and since we are closing in on 40yrs and she has never complained about my hunting, I will concede on this one.
