I was putting away the bows from this weekends Muzzy shoot when I looked at my rack and saw my Big Five just sitting there with dust on it. Well I got it down strung it up and pulled out some woodies. It took a little bit but I'm getting dialed back in. I'm putting the high tech stuff down and going back to my roots. My Hill and some wood this fall, look out deer here we come :archer2:
:clapper:
Love those Hill's,I do enjoy shooting mine too!I like the classic D-shape of them and the way they shoot.
I knew you would be back..........

I had a chance about a month ago to babysit a buddy's new to him Tembo for 2 weeks. I ordered mine last Wednesday, Craig said 3-4 weeks, can't wait.
Hill style is timeless archery.
Amen!
Been shooting mine at least twice a week between 2 jobs, love mine too and it just lays um in there and you cant hear nothing but the arra hittin the target....

It is more than just the longbow, it is a total shooting system that surrounds a shooting and hunting philosophy. the total Hill style package is addictive, flexible and compatible with most hunting situations. I just bought a Groves Spitfire Magnum, it is fast for the draw weight, I can blow nocks off my arrows like a crazy man, but I shoot twice as fast and nearly as accurate with my Hill style bows. My main bows for the starting of the year will be a yew Pete George lh and my own bamboo/yew rh. I just love the feel of a 68" longbow for small game and spot and stalk hunting.

Lol Johnny - nice work! Good thread - I'm looking forward to some good woods time with mine as well.
I'm with you dude. I turned to the d-shaped reflex/deflex years ago, and then last year I just missed the Hill bow, so I ordered another Hill bow and haven't looked back.
Love those Hill bows.
Darren
