Looking for a couple of lock ons....but these need to have real comfy seats...not the little flop down Frisbee size...but one you can lean back into ...not one you just lean back on the tree.
Thanks in advance...
Take a look at the Millennium Stands Terry.
Terry, check out woodseytoo.com. I am thinking about one of these for out at the farm!!
Hard to beat Millennium for comfort!
Millenium and Old Man have been the hands-down most comfortable for me and quiet to boot
Muddy
Terry, check out the Gorilla's

Or GameTamer. Mine are all GameTamer but they are basically the same kind of design as the Woodsey Too. IMHO there is no better treestand on the market (esp for crooked Texas trees). These are so comfortable that I own no others any more and cringe when I have to sit in a "regular" lock-on.
here is a link to GameTamers: http://www.gametamers.com/ The TS-24 is good for applications where you will be putting the stand up and taking it down and the TS-30 is great for more permanent applications where you will be leaving it in place for quite a while.

Millenniums are extremely comfortable..... but my only issue is getting up to make a shot, sometimes its hard to get up easly.....
I'm with Bisch on the Gametamers. They are without a doubt the most comfortable, and safest stand I've tried....however....if you're talking Log-On brand, they now offer replacement seats that are nicely padded, flips up out of the way, and they also have a padded backrest.
I use Gorrilla and Lone Wolf. Mine don't qualify for the comfort you are looking for.
i like the summit raptor series.easy to hang also

The ol man roost is one to take a close look at. Extremely comfy, I would also check the millennium.
I haven't found a stand more comfortable then the old API baby grand. I'm not sure if there made anymore but if they are you can't go wrong with one. Oversized seat and platform!
i second the API baby grands. They were still being made last year.

I just measured the seat on one of mine. 21 inches long, 12 inches deep and the padding is right at 2 1/2 inches! All day sits in total comfort!
Ol Mans are the best on the butt I've ever used. No back pad but you can always strap some kind of pad to the tree. Milimeum is ok but I like the Ol Man better.
Millennium
terry, the millinium stand is by far the most comfortable for its weight. also sat in a big dog lockon that was very comfortable, but i wouldnt want to lug that one around the woods. jim
Millinium no doubt
Does this mean that you're not a harda$$?
My dad has an old doughnut pillow you can borrow.
Killdeer :D
Milleinneum is by far my fav....I use to sell these , no problems!!!! mark#78...Bowie outfitters in Baton Rouge, La. there number is 225 766 1200 ....asl for Lee, or David...

I second that.
Lock on thats comforatable? never heard of such...
I never have tried a Millennium. They look nice, but expensive. I have spent many hours in an Ol' Man Roost. I really like it. It is comfortable and if you are planning on leaving it in the woods you can easily take the net seat off and take it with you. I do this to keep it dry and keep trespassers from sitting in it.
Millenium most comfortable, like a lounge but can be hard to stand up undetected if game is close. Old man pretty easy on the butt no backrest. For all day stands I prefer the millenium, am or pm hunts old man. Good luck with your choice.
Millenium, place for ur feet, you good snap easy in one!!!!mark#78
Terry, if ya decide ya like the Millenium get a hold of me. Have a real deal on one and a few brackets. Also look at some of the new Gorilla ones, have a bud that likes them, they have a backrest that attaches to the tree and run $150 or so. Shawn
Terry, call me tomorrow if you can about stands BUT to answer your question....MILLENIUM ! Nothing else even close
Another option is the Lone Wolf with a thick Gorilla seat
Millenium, hands down on comfort.
Check out this link for a comfortable Lone Wolf

I sat a Millinneum for a very long afternoon. It was very comfy. I would recommend it for a long sit.RC
Thanks guys....and I sat in a Millennium seat this weekend....and have to agree....it WAS comfy...I just didn't know it was a Millennium.
Rivers Edge Litefoot, nice big stand(aluminum) with a nice big seat for a little over a c-note. I have used this stand for all day hunts during the rut. They make a steel version thats a little heavier and a little cheaper.
I look forward to trying a Millennium after seeing so many positive post.I have long been an OleMan addict and will be until I try something better. Ole Man use to make available accesseries for their stand among which was a cushion that flipped up and the back would snap around the tree however Iv'e not seen them around for quite some time.
I should also clarify, the Millenium does not do it for me, comfy means nothing if it ain't quiet. I am sure with some work you may make it passable, but like said earlier if ya have to move and stand too shoot, well there are a lot better. Shawn
this may be the dumbest question ever to be asked on TG but i looked at the woodsey too and game tamer on the websites and all there pics show them on slanted (texas-like) trees, can they attach to a straight tree??? please dont think im an idiot, just asking thanks graybark
I've been looking hard at the rsxEagle Hang-On Stand.
Looks like it would fill the bill and I think there is a bit of seat height adjustment in it too.
T... No experience with the Millenium Hang On stand but I use their Tree Seat in combination with my Ghillie when ground hunting. It's the bomb for comfort.
Oh yeah! I should have clarified. The Tree Seat and the seat on the Millenium hang on stand are the same basic seat.

Could not have said it any different or better, most comfortable stands I have used and bought up all the 'ol man stands I can find when I see them. They are my all day stands when I hunt in IL and I do spend all day in those stands.
