Title: Snakeskin ideas for green Kanati
Post by: ScottV_7 on August 13, 2011, 12:11:00 PM
What skins do you think would work on this bow.  I'm leaning toward eastern diamondback, but I'd like other ideas with pics if possible.

Mangrove from Asia would be different for sure. Easterns, absolutely, also bullsnake would look great with the green.

Posting this from my phone... Hopefully it works.

  Black Rat Snake (http://www.uga.edu/srelherp/snakes/pics/elaobs1.jpg)

Simple, and would be a good contrast with the green on the bow.

Edit: Clearly not the best photo, a google image search would yield much better results.

Gentlemen that particular bow will have prarie rattler skins on it. I killed 2 last year elk hunting and will have the skins on in a couple of weeks...Jason builds an awesome bow. Gonna shoot it for a week then skin it. Will post before/after pics for you Scott so that you can add prarie rattlers to your skin choices. Coarse Jason's gonna get the pics of the giant buck I am gonna kill with it  :)
