A buddy of mine gave this to me. Some interesting articles about hunting and preparing for many different kinds of animals, and some very interesting ads. The ads really make this book and some are downright comical :)
Published in 1958 and also has some great pics in it, and some articles that appear to have been written by Fred Bear.
Anyone ever seen one of these?
(Mods - this may belong in the history forum, but as a hunting manuel I didn't know if PowWow would be ok - move is you need to and I apologize if it is incorrect)

I will get a few more pics of the really funny ads...like for an arm quiver :)
very kool
I have one of them I bought when they came out. Very cool, and look at the retail prices. Ken
that hushhh quiver looks kinda dangerous
I know more than one guy that got cut with some razor sharp Bear heads from open quivers. Ken
Brings back memories.had a quiver like that on a 45 pound Bear Grizzly and was the envy of my buddies cause I had a Fred Bear shooting glove. Was about 1970 I think
Jake,
What year was it published?

Look at the last pic. of the Bow Hush-h-h-h quiver. Loved those old quivers with no hoods and the broadheads exposed sticking straight up. Can you imagine the lawsuits today if you manufactured that?
I thought this was going to be about a hunting spaniard.
A hunting Spainard....Good Ole Manuel!!!!!!!
THat made me laugh out loud!!!
