For those of you that hunt on the ground/blinds what length of bows do you shoot.
I shoot a 58" for everything but it really depends on the bow design whether it will be comfortable for you and your draw length.
69". With some difficulty.
62" mostly ,both on and off the ground.
64" longbow from my Barronett blind with plenty of room to spare.
I think I'm settling in to 60" bows. :)
62
I once shot about 6 feet over a 6x7 bull at 20 yards when my upper limb hit a limb above my head.
Shot 66 inch bows for probably 20 years, changed to a 60 last spring and love how easy it is to handle in tight places
From a make shift ground or commercially made pop up blind, I have no problems shooting my two 66" recurves.
I like 56" or 58" bows.
havnt ever shot a trad bow in a ground blind. but i had no issues hunting my my 66" longbow (RIP) in te thick woods i hunt, also had no issues practicing from my tree stand that has a bar the wraps around it.
that being said 56" was nicer for the woods i hunt. my bow i have coming is 58" think that will be the perfect length for me
i've had a problem with a 62" longbow inside a double bull blind. no real issues with 62" up a tree, but some situations can be kinda iffy. i've got a 58" longbow on order ....
I like a 56" recurve.
I use natural ground blinds and use a 66" longbow.
For a recuve I love my 52" Cascade Nighthawk and my 56" Cascade Brushhawk for a longbow. Both are great in tight areas.
58" or 60" recurve or longbow
