It's been 15yrs since I took my first deer with a recurve while stalking a cornfield near my house. Since then, I've used a compound and done very well but this year I'm going back. On sunday after church a tall, dapper man (you can pay me later Chuck) delivered me a new Two Tracks Longwalker. 60" and 54lbs, it really zips 'em and looks great too. Now all I've gotta do is figure out how to hit the target... :archer2: Oh well, least the bow looks good!

Welcome back to the Dark Side!
I strongly second this post and am thrilled to have you with us.
God bless,Mudd
Sure is a purty bow! If you use ugly arrows to miss the target with, you won't miss them as much, lol. Congrats and welcome back. Mike
Nice looking bow. Have fun with it.
That is a *handsome* longbow!
Enjoy!
Shoot straight, Shinken

Very nice bow and a wonderful way to come back to trad archery. Tell the bowyer, "nice job".
Welcome back.
Thanks guys. It's good to be shooting trad again. I've taken my recurves and longbows out here and there over the years but never primarily hunted with one. I've already got a different mindset going and looking for good close opportunities while running my trailcams and planting food plots. Should bring a another level of fun back to my hunting for sure!
Nice bow ! There is something very special about hunting with a stick and string , glad your back !
Almost forgot, here's the knife made from the riser cutouts. Can't wait to get it dirty.

Gabe, I'm lucky to have one of Chuck's recent bows and he said yours was even better! I can see it is a great looking bow. I hope you find success with it. Sometimes success comes without a filled tag though ;) Welcome brother. If you need a partner for a TwoTracks longbow segment, I can start clearing my schedule. Who made the knife, looks great too!
Kevin, Our humble knife maker, is responsible for the great knife. That blade is just sweet KHALV.
I am happy that you like the bow Gabe. It turned out pretty good. I will give the specs,
60" 54#@28".
Quilted Maple belly.
Birdseye back.
Figured Chechen/curly Ash riser.
Amber boo Core.
Matching knife from KHALVERSON.
Sheath By Tim Able.
I to can't wait to see what falls to the prowess of Gabe the hunter, Is is into some nice deer and can most times find a way to put his tag on one(or two).
Good luck Gabe.
(check out his group in the blurry background of the one picture with the quote, AD Traditionals)
 Very nice!
Very nice bow and knife!!
I did not get any pictures to post but I asked Gabe if he could show the birdseye back. He said he could do that for me on Thursday.
It is some really cool maple, about 10,000 little eyes with a lite hickory stain.
Thanks to all and to Gabe for doing the pics.

Here's the pict of the birdseye. Pretty sweet looking back! Perfect natural camo. Now if I can keep my friends from shooting it...
The knife is awesome too. That chechen wood from the riser has an iridescence to it that you can see in the knife as well. Special thanks to Kevin for putting together a beautiful piece of steel! Can't wait to "field test" it!

what a pretty bow, good luck in ur adventures!!!
Welcome from Kentucky
Thanks for the pics Gabe of the bow and knife. I was able to get Chuck to bring my riser cut-outs to GLLI and I'm hoping to get Kevin to build me another matching knife. Longwalkers and KH knives, might fine combination right there!
Nice job Chuck, that curly ash is awesome. LF.
way cool longbow and killer knife - go get 'em!
Man! You are a lucky man. Sell that compound...
fmscan,Sold mine too now Im in too 4 longbows and love um all.Its a challenge compared to a compound for sure..
I've always had longbows and recurves but I've never dedicated the time to shooting only them for the summer and then hunting with one. Always seems to be the bow I pick up for stalking the corn and nothing else. This year I'll be carrying the longbow almost exclusively.
