Title: What is the Backpack on the TBM Cover
Post by: nocksalot on August 08, 2011, 10:04:00 AM
Anyone recognize or know the manufacturer of the backpack shown on the cover of the latest issue of TBM. Looks great and even has a quiver, I think.

Thanks,

Todd

I believe Gary Logsdon, one of our members here took that awesome photo for the cover. Send him a PM and ask him.

If you edit the title of this thread to be specific you'll get more responses, and maybe even some valuable info/reviews on the Pack. Something like "What BackPack is on TBM Cover?"

I was going to post this same question, can't wait to find out the answer. I could fall back on a Duluth Pack I've had my eyes on for a while if I can't find something better.

I too was wondering the same thing and was going to shoot Gary a pm, but he'll probably pop in here and answer for us.

I saw this a few minutes ago. Robin Conrads also emailed me saying that someone was asking about the gear on their TBM website.

The pack I'm wearing in the Aug/Sept TBM cover photo is a one-of-a-kind bull hide pack made for me by leathersmith Art Vincent of Nashville.  The side quiver, which you can barely see, was also made by Art.  He calls it the "Powderhorn Wilderness Stalker".  Art designed the pack with features that allow me to not only stuff a day's supply of food and gear, but also 2 cameras and a field tripod.
