found this in a dry river bed a few yrs ago near angelica ny. anyone have an idea what it is. point or tool ? the markings are on one side only (http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g295/kevsuperg/2011_0807shooting0001.jpg)
i dont believe thats a point not because its not sharper looking edges, but its to thick. i dont think it would be a tool because its so small although it looks like it could be a mini tomahawk head made for a indian child but i dont know what it is but its def something.
maybe its some kind of gorget since it has those markings can you post another pic with it facing straighter?

does this help.
Or it could be just a plain old oddity of Nature.
Oldtimers here would probably say it is a sex stone.
Bolong now that's funny!!!
Bear 125 gr glue-on. Great find. What's the rock for?
Practice broadhead.
I agree with bolong.
I'm with bolong on this one
I agree. Sex stone. :bigsmyl:
It won't be me, but I'm sure someone soon will ask, "What is a sex stone?"
I think that it's a triangular shaped "rabbit rock".
