What do you guys do with bows that are not shoot-able any more. Do you display them or cut em up and get rid of them. I have a recent casualty and I'm undecided what to do. Especially since the damage to the bow is hardly noticeable.
I traded one of mine for a knife and can cooler!
I am looking for some broken bows, mostly vintage but will look at anything, Right Charlie? ;)
Maybe yours can be fixed. sned me a picture if you can.
Use them to hold up young trees.
I use one for a ceiling light. It's a TD Recurve. The back faces downwards, and in the middle of each limb hangs a small "miner's" type lantern. Step on the switch and both lamps light up. I think it's pretty neat, and it's nice enough that the o'lady doesn't complain about it hangin' up. It hangs by my turkey mount to light it up.
ive seen them used to hold up deer heads on pedistal mounts
I just have mine hanging on the wall. I think they are works of art, and should be displayed as such when the functional purpose is gone... :bigsmyl:
Kind of like the mona lisa or a picasso...

You can use them as curtain rods if you have your own area.
