Title: I want to shoot woods

Looking for wood shaft selection
Bow specs as follows
BOB LEE 60in rec
53@ 28 my draw is 27 1/2 would like shaft 28 1/2 to 29
What spines should i try? also should i go with 11/32? do you suggest port orford cedar

55-60 spine should work with 125 gr point and FF string. Diameter and type of wood are personal preference.  I use 23/64 and mostly POC shafts.

Best to give all the info , Dacron or Fastflight string , point weight you would prefer, brace height preference ect.
With what you have there right now I would put you at 60-65# with dacron and 125 point , if you want more weight up front I would up the spine , if you have fastflight up it again.
As Gator said, contact one of the guys that build arrows and have for years , they are the ones you should be asking, Paul is a good choice out of many.

I agree with Ted. If you go with the 60#-65#'s you can choose between 125gr and 145gr tips. Just need to adjust shaft length to accommodate.
