Hello the gang ... every day reading the new topic of TG i'm dreaming about north american landscape and games since years now ...
Here we are lucky enough to get bowhunting full legal since 1995 i'm involved in the sport since 2003 and let's said this thing change may life ...
With this topic i'm glad to show you a part of my last big hunting WE in the south part of the french Alps close by the mediteranean sea.
On this terrtory it's the first time for summer buck rooe deer hunting opening time, few roe deer but and i'm lucky enough to get one of the two tags !!!
Lot off things to learn about this place, specialy co's its can be cold in the night and very hot during the day, you have big changes of the general wind direction in the morning & evening ...
hunting in this time is rut calling and the wind betrayed me 2 time on good old roe deer buck and i betrayed me "myself" half sleeping in a tree suit on a very nice 2 years old one ... i didn't get a shot , just the print of the bark of the tree on my sleeping face ....
Waiting for a next opportunity to go back overthere with a better knoledge of the wind condition some pics of the landscape to share with you !
to go to the hunting place you can choose the valley road or the top "mountain" road ...
a place well know by the bycicle addicted ... your champion Guy LANCE AMSTRONG wrote big page of bycicle history of TOUR DE FRANCE there ...

In this place you can hunt only up to 9 o'clock in the morning so a big quiver is necessary to come back to the truck with the bow inside if you want to hunt to last minute legaly
