Looks kind of Shakespeare-ish to me. Not for sure. Someone will be along who knows.
it shoots pretty good but its nothing fancy. It was given to my grandpa who doesnt shoot so he gave it to me?
I think it looks like an old Ben Pearson?
Agree on BP they made a special.
I have had several of those in my lifetime and my first reaction was Shakespeare. Doing a doubletake on the pics and the number sure looks like a Pearson mocel number.
God bless you , Steve
That would make sense, a bunch of my grandpa's friends used to shoot with BP back in the day.
Ben Pearson have one just like it.
Some big-old pictures going on in here right now....
Nice looking old bow. How many pounds is it?
sorry for the size...I thought I resized them in photobucket and they looked fine in the preview...
It is 50# at 28"
I agree with all. First thoughts Shakespeare, but....the Special, and the way it has it's No. 730 on it reminds me of a BP. Probably 45# and a good shooter too. Make a good bowfishin' bow. :archer2:
Pics would not cooperate so this will have to do
Don't know the model, but it's a Pearson. I've seen that lettering on a lot of Pearsons.
It looks like a Pearson Deer Slayer.
My pearson deerslayer says 7300 on it.
Read the first post in this thread.

It's a Pearson Special, Model 730-I've got 2. It doesn't say Pearson on it anywhere. I got into a "discussion" with the woman who sold me my first one. She said it was a Pearson, but I questioned it because Pearson or Pearson logo isn't on it, anywhere. She said she took it from a box and there was a note attached gifting the bow to her late father, a collector and a friend of Pearson's, signed by Ben Pearson.
That sounds like the bow! Thanks guys
