well i didnt buy any new bows while at denton (spent all my money on my wife) although I really wanted a set of Dryad limbs, I just couldnt afford a new set right now. Thats all the bad news, because I did come home with two bows that I did not take there.
The first is a Hill Country K-2 Bub riser with burnt cedar limbs and antler tips. It is 56" 48@28. it looks just awesome, I would expect nothing less from Roman. He is a great guy. I had a set of 60" limbs that were too heavy for me so these are the new ones. Although I am having a tough time getting used to the 56" bow,but she is pretty.
The second bow is a Great Plains "Wolf Creek". I traded a guy a bow that I had for it. WOW it is a shooter. 60" 50@28 and boy does is launch a GT 3555. Im not a recurve kinda guy, but i cant put this thing down!! enough talkin here are some pics for ya.

Very nice looking bows
Very nice!
Roman seemed like a very Nice guy! He allowed me to loiter in his booth for hours looking at eye candy. If that aint nice I dont know what is.
Good looking duo you have there.
good looking stuff
really nice!
Nice bows, and yes those Great Plains are shooters.
real nice bows, some amazing wood in that Great Plains riser!
Very nice.
Very nice wood and design.
More toys - More Fun!!!
Great looking sticks.
Well Done!
Love those Great Plains one piece bows! My "B" model Rio Bravo has taken 13 deer and 1 elk. 10 deer before I bought it and then I upped the tally a bit. 52@28. I will be taking it elk hunting again this year.
I've got that same exact Wolf Creek. In fact when I first scroled down the pics I thought "How did my bow get on there?" My father bought it for me as a college graduation present back in '96 from Screaming Eagle Archery when they were still in business. Great bow! I killed my first traditional deer with it and had Stacey Groscup autographed it. I have since become more of a longbow guy, but that bow still holds a special place in my heart and I'll never get rid of it.
