It sucks. The property I hunt is 3/4 mile north of 70. But good luck to you fellas across the street anyway.

I must be getting soft. Had a big doe under me for the better part of an hour this morning. She had twin fawns her that had almost lost their spots. They were running back and forth thru the palmettos chasing each other. Just couldn't bring myself to drop the string on momma.
This evening I saw 13 squirrels and a hoot owl...

Brad, Don't feel like your getting soft. I always figure it's best to allow momma to complete her intended purpose of raising the youngsters right. You can always get her later in the season, and the fawns will stand a better chance of being around for next year.
