I have said a number of times that I can't shoot longbows. Well. I can shoot 3 piece takedown longbows if the have a heavier riser and a nice pistol grip like you would find on a recurve! My first one was a zipper sxt. Awsome bow. Especially when mated with an extra set of recurve limbs.
A while ago I was crusing another site and found a Wildcat for sale close to my specs 48@28. It is 62" long and that's good because I am moving to 60 and 62" bows instead of 58 and 56" ones. It made it here today and I had just enough time to put it together, string it and shoot 2 arrows before work...........really nice! The grip on this thing is amazing. I love the thumbrest. Finish and workmanship are awsome.
Can anyone tell me what brace hight they are shooting theirs at. I know I can find it just wondering what was the norm. Also are they fast flight compatable? I think the string that came with it is Dacron
If Roman makes recurve limbs for the wildcat, nobody tell me. Ok tell me if he does!
I know the recommended brace height for a Wildcat with hybrid limbs is 8-1/4". It should definately be able to take a low stretch FF type string.
