Anyone have pig hunting info on these lands? Are there very many pigs in there?
I'm not asking anyone to give out info on your best spots. I only want to know if those areas hold any decent numbers of pigs. I am willing to spend some time with trial and error figuring it out.
Thanks in advance,
I have not personally ran into hogs in the Chatahoochee forest but have in parts of the Nantahala, specifically in Graham County in an around Santeetlah creek and the Swan Cabin/Wolf Laurel Branch area. Big Russians! Might also want to check out the slickrock wilderness area north of Robbinsville up 129 towards the "Tail of the Dragon" Happy hunting!
I grew up in Robbinsville and have hunted both places a lot. While there are pigs there they are few and far between and dang hard to get out of those deep hollers. If your planning a trip I would look at south GA good pig hunting down in the swamps. Chris
Also look at SC. Pee Dee swamp has lots of pigs.

lots of good outfitters and clubs that can take you out...for a fee.
I might just have to go to Ray's and make life more simple! I sent him a message. If I have to travel to SC or south Georgia anyway to get into some good pig populations, I might as well do it with someone that knows what they are doing.....
Can't go wrong with Ray. Plenty of hogs and a great time.
