Steve's segment of the Masters of the bare bow series is probably my favorite. He just makes it look so easy. Very interesting guy. I was just curious if you guys know anything else about him? Has he written any books or articles, etc... Thanks, Sam
I enjoyed that segment as well.
Is he the one that was shooting at hay bails in the mountains? I thought that guys was an excellent shot and made it look ssssoooo easy. A lot of fun to watch!
My favorite as well! Amazingly MotBB 2 is the only on I've seen..
Is he the guy with the BW longbow that has the really high brace height?
One of the great, but silent and humble, contributors to traditional archery and to preservations of the environment that we belovedly hold so close to our hearts.
Much is written on the net regarding Mr. Fausel. You will have to hear or read for yourself. The information is unlikely to come from his own mouth nor from the hand of this humble servant.
Never hear to much about him. He was in Fred Asbell's shooting books as well. Love the casual style and shooting at the hay bales scattered all over......it was all so cool to see his dogs fetch his arrows. Brace was huge on his bow!
his bw brace height is of his own doing, I found it odd. But, if it works it works!!! :)
Yes, he is the one with the high brace height and shooting the hay bales in the mountains. Friend, where is all of this stuff at on the net? I will search this site, but are there other places I should look? Thanks, Sam
I enjoyed his segment also, so laid back and enjoying himself. That's what it's all about.
sam, I just googled him and there is a lot to read. Very impressive man.
I repeatedly watch that segment and the thing that I love the most is the closing statement he makes at the end. He talks about the national forest land available to us as outdoorsmen/women to use and share and how inspiring that is. That closing statement just puts chills up and down my spine. How cool is that?
Yeah I liked how laid back he was too. Very impressive shooting and you could tell how much passion he has for the outdoors and traditional archery. It would be awesome to share an elk camp with that man.
Check out "Fausel Companies Organization"...
He is a very impressive indivivual...
You guys are right about Steve being the highlight of MBB2 . He has the perfect additude about hunting and I think there is alot to be learned by him .
My favorite segement as well, when I want to get in the right frame of mind to shoot I watch that. Always gets me pumped to shoot my bow.
wow, I did what alot of yall did...watched it over...and over...
He used to be on videos with TOO SHORT back in the day....this was first time I have seen him on anything since early 90s.
Brock, do you know what videos he was on? I've only seen one of Too Short's videos, High Noon Bucks and he wasn't on there. Thanks, Sam
He is in G. Fred Asbell's instinctive shooting video; one of the "students".
I'd say the "student" learned well. lol
