Title: Arm Guards going to Denton Hill
Post by: Scott Teaschner on July 22, 2011, 09:10:00 AM
I have been working non stop for 2 weeks I will have 180 arm guards to sell at Denton Hill. There is going to be at least 9 different tooled patterns and 3 colors. I will have 24 knife arm guard combos. I now have a brass button that I had custom made just for me- it has a slight dome and knureled edge and one end has a quick adjustment for the stretch cord. Enjoy the pics of some of my arm guards!

Scott, those are breathtaking.
'Bout time some body came up with arm guards that are not only fully-functional, but dramatically aesthetic.
I hope, with these, you have set a new standard in what should be expected of an arm guard.
I also have first hand experience with how you treat your leather with your oil process.
These things should last forever.

The floral and oak leaf do just that. With proper tooling it should look as if it will pop right of the leaher. The antiqueing process also brings out all the dress cuts and tooling marks. You would not beleave how many little tools go into a floral pattern or oak leaf.

I will do a daily leather care seminar it will be listed in the program should be around 2 or 3 pm. I will have a raffel for a basket stamp deluxe arm guard. I will be able to install strike plates I will bring some leather tools.

There was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago with several folks looking for the USMC emblem, Eagle Glode and Anchor on an armguard.  Would you be able to do that kind of work? That is some fine craftsmanship on those armguards.

You know where to stop half way. I won't even charge you anything for pitching your tent in my back 40.
