Folks just got back from spending a day with Leon at this shop and taking pics of his bows in preparation for Denton Hill. He has a real nice collection of "Slammers" for sale....all nice stuff. If you get a chance check his booth out. Kathy that is the problem I had too "few" kudus in my wallet. I am trying to broker a trade for an air conditioning unit.
Leon makes a great bow. I shot the BAS right handed and liked it. I'm gonna miss Denton Hill this year but would love to see what he is bringing.

Leon's booth is always a must see!
I guess the pics are on a need to see basses lol.
Alan here is a good example, carpathian burl elm on the belly, birdseye on face, cocobolo riser with compass. Enjoy. Actually what does not sell at Denton and Forksville will go on "in shop inventory listing in September. thanks tm
PLEASE be careful... I made the mistake of wandering into Leon's booth...looked...touched...shot...lost sleep that nite... asked friends who also have the same disorder as I do and they said "Do it you deserve it" Went back with same friends next morning... ordered (peer pressure) waited several loooong months... went to pick it up, had lunch with Leon and have been one VERY happy camper since. Do it, you deserve it!!!
I'll be walkng around Leons Booth with MY slammer that I got last June HIs the best I have ever owned
Ordered mine in january cant wait till it comes Leon said 2nd week in august. 64" 45 lbs 28 draw. Bacote on belly, 3 Lams of bamboo core Bacote & osage flaired riser black glass on front with rattle snakeskins on limbs and compass. Counting Days! Slammer Baby. And a dozen carbon tech whitetails.
John that sounds sweet. I really like the bocote/osage flair and old school black glass on front. That is going to be one handsome bow. I am really glad he likes to mix up the black and brown glass with these fancy veneers, they just grab you and the contrast is great.
We were talking about the carbon tech whitetails. I do not think that there is a better hunting arrow out there. The 35/55 work great on all of my bows in your weight range and you can jocky weight up front with no issues. By far the best I have seen. Looking forward to seeing picks of yours. tm
Leon makes a nice Recurve too!
Picked up my son's bow last Friday. 62" Slammer 40@28", curly maple belly/back, marado riser with ash and osage core. We'll be at Denton Hill, but he didn't want till then shoot it.
Here is a nice combination that should catch your eye. (http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac45/massaro-60/P1010340.jpg) (http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac45/massaro-60/P1010341.jpg)
Was thinking today about just this, wondering what left hand stuff he is bringing this year. Always causes a problem when I 'm near his booth. See fmscan above.
Bill left handed stock for sure a good selection .....i believe that you may be in trouble.
Tukudu, congrats on a Bow u ty full bow. Good for you , have fun and enjoy.
Tukudu, Thanks for the info on carbon tech whitetails. Never used them before. Leon on said they work well with his bows thats what i ordered the 35/55 with 175 grain field points.
Thanks Tom- I was just thinking if I had to have one bow what would it be and Leon's slammer won, they just shoot for me. Good news I can have more than one.
If you get tired of all of your lefty slammers you can always send them my way, Bill.
Here is one more for the weekend.Looks like we are going to get a break in the weather. Enjoy. (http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac45/massaro-60/P1010313-1.jpg)

Here is a good example of the curly lam. This one is real nice with good curly. I have seen dark stained ones as well. I have one with a brown glass face and curly like this. (http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac45/massaro-60/P1010299.jpg)
