You've seen it before. The one that says, "Your item may be picked up at the post office... Tomorrow!" Or, "We can redeliver! Just allow 2 business days!"
It is definately a love / hate relatioinship with those blasted pink slips of paper.....
Looking forward to the pics!!
What is it K, What is it???
Another Lost Creek, the latest triple-bevel broadheads?
I know it's not a Widow 'cause they don't use the Post Office for bows.
Tell us! Don't make me come over there.
Head to the PO 1/2 hour before it closes, I'm thinkin your Hill arrived :) Better than waiting IMO :)
It might be a Hill I guess. Almost forgot I ordered one of those...
Gotta love it. Oh, the mailman never gets here before . . . = famous last words. I always seem to miss them and my PO is about a 15-20 min. drive one-way!
On my last bow they were all guessing what my package was (in a tube) at the PO. Apparently they had some kind of bet on it cause the guy in the back who got it right seemed a bit too excited.
I called em at 4:30 and they said the carrier hadn't shown up yet and I'd have to wait until tomorrow morning.
This sucks.
We'll take real good care of it for you, Kiefer!

Killdeer :goldtooth: :biglaugh:
Thanks Killdeer. I'm sure it's in good hands. It's still gonna be a loooong night tonight. PO opens at 9 tomorrow morning, I'll be able to just run over after my football workout.
I have two delemna's. Being a 16 year old driver, things could get interesting. ;)
Getting a 68" bow into my single cab truck... guess maybe the bed...
Man,, you must uv really had to go !!! Hopefully it wont have any major bends in the tube {or box} like my last one ...
Just get there, it isn't important to get there first. (My driving motto.)
Leave it in the box until you get home, unless it looks damaged.
I know, that last is a killer at 16. In a box in the bed is safest, in the cab with it sticking through the back window if you have a back window, and can't bear to be separated from it works too.
If you put it in the cab with it sticking out the passenger window like a breeze-loving dog, you will get sideswiped sure as Shinola.
Whattaya know! The spellchecker doesn't know what Shinola is! :wavey:
I see your on deck with your usual dose of good advice, Killie. Stick with Killie's advice, K M, and this too will pass (I know, I know - it's so exciting, and hard to wait - don't care what age we get to be. Been there, done that - LOL)
Shinola......now that's funny , :biglaugh:
Last time I picked one of those long boxs from the post office that we all love so dear... I was in full camo and face paint had just come from the turkey woods. They all had the weirdest look on their faces. Funny how we forget how odd we look to other people when we have a new bow on our minds!
Tell me about it! I'm going right after conditioning so my shirt will be completely soaked through with sweat, and I'll prbably smell like the south end of a North bound bull.
Hope everything is/was as great as getting a "new" bow should always be.
Made it back in one piece... Post Office is good people! In and out in a few minutes.

At first glance, you would think, "Oh! That's a Howard Hill Cheetah!"
Not so. I had Craig do this instead...

One of my favorite dogs passed away on Christmas morning last year. We called him Pond Bear and I thought this would be a neat way to carry on his spirit. The bear paw inlay is from the "Bear" in Pond Bear. I saw the inlay on one of Raging Waters bows and emailed Craig right away.
The finish Craig puts on is awesome. That kind of textured matte. Love it.
It's my quietest bow without silencers even on the string, and I can't wait to tune it and see what kind of groups I can get...
It did come in 3 pounds heavier than I order which makes a perfect 53#'s at my 28 in. draw.
Don't know if you can tell but I'm so excited about this bow I really think I could pee my pants...
:bigsmyl: :goldtooth: :jumper: :archer2:
Thanks to all that helped me along the way.
Edit: Fergot to mention, I found it kind of funny that the tips of my bow were padded with ads from Bear Archery. Showing off all of their "cool" bows!
K, that is beautiful man!
Let us know how it shoots.
Love these threads with the brown boxes and brown trucks in them....
Brown trucks my aching patoot!
Don't take much talent to pee your pants, dude, any drunk'll tell ya! But managing to put that beauty down, and leaving it someplace else, now that might be something of a botheration! Very nice bow, a real looker, and with the heart that is in it, well, that is a keeper. Call it Kismet, it was just meant to be.
Killdeer
Great stuff brother ... My bows , mainly Hills, often carry the names of my dogs and horses that have moved on to higher ground.
Sweet bow and looking forward to pics of it afield.
Nice bow......... Enjoy!!
cool beans!!!!!!!!!!!!!sweet bow!!!!!
A Real Beauty !!!!
That is one Sweet Hill! Love the personal touches too. Congrats!
