my house is down on the tip just beside the lake:)
When I finally made it up to the top I was greeted by an eagle that did fly over me and making some welcome screams:
(sorry for bad pic but its taken with my iphone.

Very nice!
WOW, what a beautiful area.....thanks for take'n us along!
You surely are Blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Those berries look tasty! They look like yellow/orange Rasberrys. I don't see any bushes around, do they grow on the ground like Strawberrys? Thanks for the pics!
Beautiful place!
Nice, thanks for sharing.
What an ugly spot to live! Too bad you can't live in Oklahoma where the temperatures have been up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit lately (45 degrees Celsius). Also, none of those horrible mountain views you have shown. We do have a few eagles though. You would have to show off while I am inside my air-conditioned house trying to stave off the heat outside. Actually, it is pretty out there, as long as I can look at it though my windows. All I can say is to wait until October and November when I am out hunting in beautiful, sunshiny weather and you suffering in the dark and cold. That will make me feel better!! :readit: :bigsmyl:

Margly,
You do understand that I am wishing I were there in Norway right now, right? Sometimes the humor is lost in translation. :smileystooges:
Your home is in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!
Allan
someday....... maybe someday!!! Very nice
WOW!! thta is just beautiful!! some of the best of both worlds, woods and water!!
Beautyful country! Now you have to send some pics of your moose!
Thanks friends:)
The cloudberrys is growing on the ground like wild strawberry and are highly tasteful.
Yes I'm blessed that live in these surrondings.
Tomorrow I will go with my wife and daughters to pick cloudberrys in the mountains, really looking forward to that:)
Margly
Beautiful!!!
Beautiful.

hmmm, Cloudberry pie..... We have huckleberries here in the mountains of Oregon that we pick in the fall.
My ancestors were Norwegian. Everytime I see pictures such as your Margly I want to travel there and see it for myself. Very beautiful part of the world.
I love that pic and scenery. I wonder if it has anything to do with being just two generations removed form Norway myself. Thanks for sharing.
Spent some time in Norway training back in 92. First iceberg I ever saw. Great scenery and people you have there.
I'm speachless, that is a georgeous place there, you are truely blessed.
The natural features there tug at your heart and make your spirit scream at you to explore! The land still has the fingerprints of God on it, and we are the richer for having gazed upon it.
Thank you!
Killdeer
Have a great family outing...bring home the goodies! And feed us some more pics! :)
Thanks for sharing those pics are just beautiful. Enjoy the outing.
Beautiful!!!
beutiful!reminds me of kodiak alaska in the summer.
I love seeing beautiful scenery unspoiled by the hands of man.
Det var nesten fiendtlig å vise multebilder her til folk som ikke får plukke og spise noen her i USA. ;)
Major beautiful Margly, and from your prior pics it is evident that Norwegians respect the land and everything in it.
I can "almost" see a Viking longboat off in the distance. :saywhat:
It is almost cruel to see someone picking cloudberries when we can't pick and eat them here in the U.S.A.
Allan
that is breath taking.
The views are great...but I'm envious of the rivers below filled with salmon :)
Just arrived at my familycabin in the mountains, I'll try to upload a pic 75,2 F and a little breeze:)

Thats correct :)
Both salmon and seatrout in that river, its a small comfy river that is good for onehand flyfishing, in an area of 10 km you have 3 salmon seatrout rivers:)
Margly
Beautiful country. Thanks for sharing pics with us. If you have more, I'd like to see them.
Fishing:)

Beautiful, but are you allowed to bowhunt there and what do you have to hunt?

No its not legal to bowhunt in Norway!
If I wanna bowhunt in Scandinavia I have to go to Denmark, or Finland. Sweden have had a year of testhunt but it is not legal there yet either.
Margly
My Viking heritage has been watered down to "no hunting".....it is a shame.
It is a shame,I really don't understand those Europeans countries that don't permit bowhunting!
It's the heritage of a lot of folks there. It's like if they took away Winchester rifles here in America...oh yeah, they're working on that!
What kind of critters do you have calling those hills home?.... Terry

The rule in Norway is that you shall use a powderdriven projectile...an ancient rule we try to change but you know it's a lot of bureaucrazy, so iwilt take time :knothead:

Margly
That's quite a variety..... Beautiful country and I bet the fishing is good..... Terry
