I am really considering getting a Bison Gear waistpack. I am not sure exactly what material I want or which pack I need. I am thinking about the outfitter. If anyone has any photos of their packs please post them. There are only a few on the Bison Gear page. I'll take any advice you have too! Thanks.
I have the haversack and love it. Here are some oics of it....

I'm also considering a Bison Gear. Can't decide on suede or wool.
I Have the Haversack in green wool.. Love it a bunch. It works out great hung on my rt side (rt hand shooter) with a back quiver, leaving my bow hand side free and clear. You can use the belt loop along with the shoulder strap to keep it snug if you want to. Angelo is a first class guy to deal with also.. Nothing but good to say about the quality and service..
I have thought about the haversack too. I just need some way to carry extra clothes. It seems like it would work well when carrying a climbing stand. I could strap my extra clothing on the stand. I have a cheap haversack that I am going to give a try this year, If I like it I may get one from Bison Gear. I think the outfitter waistpack is what I need I just can't decide on material. I like the wool but I am not sure how heavy it will be and how it will do in the wet winters that we have around here.

I have the Lost River pack in wool, it's pretty darn good. It is well made and will easily hold enough for two days out; more than I need. I like wool, you can't go wrong with Bison gear.

My smaller custom Outfitter
I am currently using my Lost River as my daay pack . All I'll need for years to come it wears that well .
I own a fair bit of stuff made by Angelo at Bison and cannot recommend it enough . Great gear , great service .
That boat dock looks familiar. I think I've been there. Is that Lake Manapouri? What a beautiful place.
Trying to order a Haversack myself...
Steve ... yep ... Lake Manapouri ... well spotted bro !
The havesack is great and covers so many bases that i am rarely without it .
Here is mine. I really like it but its too much of a pack if its just for daily use, for me. I think I will try the haversack.

I got this one used on the classies not sure which model it is....but I know I love it.The best pack I've ever owned bd (http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/bowdocsarchery/1pic001.jpg)
Gear looks great, but 3 things I noticed:
1. I didn't see a pack called the haversack on the site...did I miss it?
2. No waterproof lining?
3. I was consider the outfitter (fanny pack). I went to purchase and the shipping cost was 28 bucks...that seems excessive for a fanny pack that could be rolled into a small package.
Any thoughts?
I really like the looks of the haversack, but cannot find it on the Bison Gear site. Is it discontinued?
The haversack is in the middle of the list.

They no longer have it listed in their pack section, so there is no pic or description. Wonder if they are discontinuing it?
Give Angelo a call or email . Great guy to deal with . I am pretty sure the haversack is still being made !
Angelo had a number of haversacks on display at ETAR. I picked one up there and at the time he told me I could order one if I wanted a fabric that he didn't have on display. That makes me think that they are still in production. Great pack for day hunts ... holds way more than you would expect.
I think its the Houndsman that your looking for. They are a great pack. TD.
