Hmm, where have I seen this show before ?
Let me wipe my mouth.....be back soon.
Got a little concern by the looks of the box if i had a little more reflex built in the design then the bowyer intended

And perhaps the tips were going to be more blunted then usual.

Im in Alabama,i can drive over and see it before you get done,I gotta see it. LOL
Asked Jim add a little something to the riser overlay to add a little more weight to the riser. A 3/16" thick piece of black fiberglass..I think it came out great!
thats what im talking about. Man that is sweet. your gonna love it.
Come on over Randy, i'm off tomorrow so i'll still be up looking at her :bigsmyl:
John, you wont let go of it for a week.LOL
I like Larry's grip so much on his Centaur I asked Jim to use it as a template and added a few changes to it like the fiberglass and a medium grip but with a little more meat in the palm swell. Jim nailed it as usual.

The one pic (3rd one down last post) of the riser that a little light is not a good representation of the colors and i've tried to fix it but it's not showing up correct. Maybe by morning it will catch up.
Wanted something that represented South Mississippi and it had to be tenacious...like a Cotton mouth Moccasin

Beautiful!!!!
Jim just flat knows how to build a bow!
Spec's please you say? 60" Triple Carbon 53#@30" marked 48# @ 28". Skinned with Cotton Mouth Moccasin from our own Charles Sinclair "Snakewood". Charles I think the skins turned out great you really can't see the true colors in the photos but a little green, black, and white show through. Has the "Larry Grip" but in Medium with more palm swell.
I draw to 29.75" so about 53#.
Nice.Real nice.
Man I really like it,let us know how it shoots.
Wow stunning very nice should be a great shooter
A little comparison with my Chimera with Prairie rattler skins.
I have tape wrapped around the tip of the Chimera for protection, so it looks ragged, but not so under it.
Great lookin bow. I just recieved a Centaur in the mail myself today. Bought on used out of the classifieds. I'm in love already. Hope yours shoots as good as it looks! Congrats on your new stick!
Side by side, "bird in hand is better than two in a bush"

Last one, 20 yards with a lot of target panic going on, but I can tell it's a lot's quicker than the Chimera. I'll have to do some tuning getting the noc height set for 3 under and she'll be dialed in. Seems to be quieter by a tad. The grip really aligns my hand for a consistent shot and fills it up good, not to much but just right. If you noticed the riser only has grooves for the first 3 fingers Larry Marshall had Jim design this for his bow and it really looked good but it is also very functional, thanks Larry for the "Larry grip".
One more thing needs to be said about Jim's work, you'll not find anybody who will do as much to satisfy your desires! Maybe as much but not any better  Take a look at the art work  I told Jim i wanted something to represent my area of hunting and the type of game I encounter. After some discussion (about 2 hour at least over a couple of days) I had mention that we mostly have scrub bucks with deformities and maybe a shed antler with something liked that would be cool, could he handle it? let see...

Thanks Jim for all you do at the price you ask, way under rated.
Wow that is one sick looking bow! I love the antler on the checkered grip!!!
I want one
Beautiful.
Congrats on a really piece of craftmanship:)
This Centaur was stunning!
Margly
WOW, that is nice. You really are making me want to call Jim and get a deposit down for one. Congratsand Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Very nice...as usual.
Congrats!!!
Calling out Jake aka. "Comber" thanks my friend for making this happen :noteworthy: I hope the bow didn't disappoint :saywhat:
Congrats on another beauty by Jim. Best of Luck!!
Sweeeeet! Jim sure can build!!
That's a really beautiful bow right there!
John, those are the best cotton mouth skins i have see. once again that is one sweet bow.RJ.
Randy, where in Alabama do you live? North or South? And thanks for the compliments.
John,
I couldn't have picked a nicer combo myself and the best thing is you had it built perfectly to my Specs! You're a true CENTAUR fan and I know that bow isn't going anywhere. I glad I could help. I do have a spot or two comming up in the future and I might have to opt for some skins. Now this is what you call a TOTALLY LOADED CENTAUR.
Thanks,
Jake
Wow, that's nice!! Love those skins too.
John. I live in Huntsville.North alabama. You need to come up and hunt we got some good deer.
looks like a good un' to me!
Shoots good as it looks you might need asbestos shafts. Real nice.
 Beautiful bow!
that is an amazing looking stick treat er rite
Sharp looking bow  :notworthy:
Bill
Jim is a true artist for sure  Congrats on a super looker and shooter.
Comber you are wrong my friend that bow probably is going somewhere,to my house when John needs a baby sitter. Sweet stick Johnny boy love the high wrist.Cant wait to crank one out of her!
Kirk, it actualy more of a medium with a little extra in the palm swell. Normally you pay the baby sitter to watch the kids but in this case the baby sitter may have to pay :saywhat:
Classy looking bow!
Sweet bow!!! Congrats!
WOW, thats a beauty, love that antler.
Okay I know it's been raining all day but surely youv'e tried it out in the garage or living room is it a keeper? This whole Centaur family tree thing you got goin on is getting outta hand!
:saywhat: I hope to get time here shortly to adjust the noc point and sling some arrows.
My wife and I love that grip! Nice.
