A friend of mine is looking for information on what type of two-part foam mix to use in the making of his own targets. Some of you may remember the raised 3-d square targets that, I believe either Delta or Mckenzie use to sell. Used them myself for several years and loved them! Well, that's what he has his mind set on so I would appreciate any help you guys could give us. Thanks....Art
Bringing this back up top. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again....Art
I would be interested in this info as well.
Good article this past month in Trad Bowhunter Mag. It discussed using spray foam in various containers to make some interesting and different targets. Maybe not quite an answer to your question but a great option.
Either great stuff foam(make sure you do a little at a tima and let it cure),or get some boat dock foam HD used to carry it in big 2x2x4 block. And then cut your own out.im cheap and use old couch cushions i find on trash day,a little duck tape and you have a block target.
you can get the two part expanding foam from taxidermy warehouses, but be careful with it, it gets hot and expands pretty fast.its used to alter manikins and forms, may be what your looking for.
Thanks fellows, sounds like something I can use........Art
Check out smooth-on.com and look at Flex-Foam. It may be the type of product you are looking for.
Going to check those out also Steve, thanks........Art
