Just finished reading several conversations on different gloves. Like the rest of you I have tried almost everything on the market, but, over the last several years, I have been shooting the Black Widow Deluxe PDQ glove. I find it a good medium between "not too thick and not too thin", however, I dont believe, I have read about anyone using one on Tradgang. Anyone else use this glove?
In Fred's last book, he states that he is a "true glove man" and goes on to describe his preferences in a glove. Does anyone recongize the brand of glove he is using? Just curious. Thanks and be safe..Bill
I too use the PDQ glove and absolutley love it. I have tried several others and the all leather design seams to work the best for me.
Looks like the glove Fred used to sell back when he had Bighorn bows. Maybe he had a few left over. Good glove. I bought a few then as well. Nope. Don't want to sell them.
I'm on my second PDQ super glove. I've tried others, but it's still my favorite. Takes awhile to break in, but lasts as long as any. My main reason for trying one was that I was getting finger pain with a thinner glove and because of my job (dentist), my fingers are worth alot to me! The PDQ provided me with great protection no matter how much I shoot.
Thanks for the information, Guys.
Orion,
They were made for Bighorn? any idea who made them?
The PDQ glove looks a lot like the Neet gloves I used to use. The Neet gloves worked well, but after a while the back of the finger stalls would curl forward and I thought that the curl would interfere with the string upon release. I now shoot with a full palm glove and like it better. I also learned not to hang a Neet glove by the wrist strap as the elastic seemed to stretch and loose its elasticity. Pup
