Okay this week will be shooting 3 arrows, 15 yd, with your opposite foot forward (right foot forward for righties, left foot forward for lefties). First arrow counts double
Have fun, and good luck
I shot a 10,8,6 for a 34
(http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/ad345/giffs30/P7090003.jpg)
Good one. I shot this as if I was caught by a deer, after taking a step. First shot was a little low. Second, a little left. Third, right on. Total was a 28. (http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad183/wclooper/DSC_0140-1.jpg)
I hope to get my shots in early in the week.
Right now I am still trying to recover and I have jury duty this week.
I have wanted to serve as a jurist for years, I even tried to volunteer but they just said it doesn't work that way...lol
God bless,Mudd
PS: I'm going to be really ticked if this blasted kidney causes me to miss out.
Mudd you can always make it up later, take care Larry.
TTT
Any practice shots or just 3 arrows?
Thanks!
God bless,Mudd
I gotta actually meet this guy Mudd someday. He's the only person I've ever heard of who volunteered for jury duty. And he got denied. You cant make that stuff up. Mudd, you flat out rock! (http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii31/mikebiz/rock.gif)
OK I never was very good at waiting for answers so if it's only the 1st set of three that counts here they are.
I hope these 3 counts as a practice round.

God bless, Mudd
PS: What a dork! When I came back and looked at my post I realized you folks can't see my fletchings...lol... In picture #1, the outer most arrow on the plate is my #1 shot.
The arrow closest to the center is my #1 shot.

I must not be as limber as I ought. Tried this at first with my feet opposite how I normally shoot; square stance but as though I was shooting left-handed. I missed my practice 3D animal entirely. So I then faced the target as though walking toward, with my right foot forward. Still awkward as heck but I could put 3 arrows in a plate. High scores consistently in or near the bullseye? YGBSM.
I'm getting tired of scoring crappy. I don't know how you guys are doing it. I know this is practice but I am ready for an "ideal body position" scenario. Any fellow whiners?

First arrow 4 at 9 o'clock. I'm an 18.
i got out and shot today before it got hot. my 1st arrow was the 4 so 4x2 is 8+6+6 is 20. :archer2: don

Cheers, Brett

Okay, this is ROUND 6 for me. A whopping 24!
This is round 6 (http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr281/LarryS54/Picture1499.jpg)A 10,8,6 and a barely 4 for 28.
This round 7 (http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr281/LarryS54/Picture1500.jpg)A 6,8,6,for a 26.
Well, I shot a 26 for ROUND 7. First shot was a 6x2 for a 12, next shot a 6 and last shot an 8. I will post pics when the this stupid machine will let me.
Looks like giff won again!
As soon as I get my strings from 1st class Flemish I will get caught up! Sorry I haven't been participating for the last few. I hope to get them this week. Good shooting!
Hey folks sorry I haven't posted the Week 7 scoresheet; I just got back from my dad's in Prescott from the weekend and he doesn't really have internet. On the bright side, I did get to shoot the Van Clark Memorial 3D with the Granite Mountain Archers--a very nice shoot with 3 super 15-target courses. I shot so-so, a 307. Winning trad score was 368!
I'll post week 7's scoresheet tonight...congrats to giff, do you have a new scenario?
I got a 24 in Round 7, haven't had a chance to post pics yet. Of course practice was great, first shot was an 8, I get pretty excited and then 2 4s.
Here's the pic I promised. Not all that impressive. I had a score earlier in the week that I followed directly with a 10, so I tried again. Never shot another 10!
That's pretty darn good Bona. Remember the 10 IS the size of a quarter! That's way smaller than most 12-rings....
Welcome back trick00's sons Patrick and Christopher Phillips, and also to njloco!
And Brian C don't forget your week 4! *Oh yeah, "lying on back", I don't blame you if you pass on that one! Cool scenario but takes some practice for sure!*

Alright, Giff, where's round 8?
I turned in my #6 score, just turned in late..
It was also a 26.
ROUND 8! ROUND 8! ROUND 8! :p
