just fletched up a dozen surewoods for hogs (well, for deer too, i s'pose) - "coral snake hog arrows" :) w/tusker concorde 190's on the business ends, footed the fronts with epoxied 1/8" bamboo, total weight averages 595 grains.

Very nice
Any hog would be proud to have one of them as a gift :)
Good looking arrows ya got there. They will do the job.
Lookin' good as always Rob! I like your choice of BH too. Those arrows will definitely ruin Ms. Piggy's day.
RED AND YELLOW, kill a fellow or swine don't matter
i'd put a 160 ace up front, but them will do. lol
Rob,
Your arrows are real beauties but let me share a tip a fella shared with me. Get a yellow sharpie and make the edge of your feather yellow too! (the quill part that's white now). Just made mine look a little better after I started doing it.

yep, done that with a sharpie. scraping the burn off with a razor blade works best for me, but i kinda like the darkened edges on these yeller bars.
Nice looking arrows there Rob.
I'm putting together a dozen Douglas fir arrows right now for the same reason. I'm calling them "Motorcity Macheties". I'll post pics when they are done.
Sweet Mr Rob .....
They look like they are made for business . Douglas fir as hog arrow material is just perfect ... none too heavy ... none too light ... just right!
Nice, those things look like they will slip right through a hog and not even slow down.
Looks good Rob,I like the combo of colors You say footed with Bamboo,do you mean you drilled them out and stuck the boo inside? Does that add good strength?

yep, drilled out the front ends and epoxied in 2" lengths of 1/8" bamboo bbq skewer. it do help lots with point break offs.
Every arrow looks better with a little red on it.
Nice!
Cool! I like the bamboo footing idea
Those look great!
Great looking arrows Rob! Good luck using them and may they all fly straight and true. :D
Always enjoy your arrow building posts Rob. Great lookers and looking forward to seeing a few of them "turn red" after they have been used.
Very nice looking arrows Rob
OOOOHHHH YEAH!!!!
I put together some chundoo arrows with 190 grain Ribteks. Weigh in around 620 grains. :bigsmyl:
Beautiful and Deadly looking arrows Rob. Good Luck with them!
WOW Rob,they sure some beautiful arrows.A thin coat of bubbly red down the entire shaft could be the only thing to make them prettier.Good luck
Nice looking arrows. Hope you get to introduce one to a hog.
Red on yeller, kill a feller...(and a hog or two).....very nice.....
 Love the coral snake color scheme.
Space aliens would have to drop off some hogs for me to find one where I hunt. Here's an arrow from my most recent set.

Dougherty shaft (2217), 200 grain 1 1/4" glue on Terminator, four 4 3/4" spliced feathers...684 gr.
Now go hunting.............
"you got hog arrows"........you ask?
Well, I got what I think could be hog arrows(see setup in my sig. below).
Only one small problem though...........I AIN'T GOT NO HOGS!!!!
Probably will have some here someday though, at least it looks that way, what with the way they're spreading.
Charlie those are beautiful arrows. Are those alluminums like the older ones that accept glue on points or do you have an adapter glued in there?
Beautiful arrows Rob!
Very,very nice!
Rob,
Great arrows and I love the penetration I've gotten with those Concordes! Good hunting, Todd

Very very Nice! Good luck getting blood on them when you go!
Rob,
Im still pretty green so I haven't made the switch to wood yet. But those beauties you guys are posting are almost enough to make me want to. Trust me when I do I'm sure Ill have all kinds of questions. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the pigs!
Nice looking arrows Rob and great weight for Hogs and Deer . My set up is about the same weight but Im using cx 250s on my recurve and 60-65 cedar for my longbow.
love the woodies and those reflectors, too!
Those are my squirrel arrows. Figured since I squirrel hunt where I will deer hunt this fall, I'll probably find the reflective wrapped arrows as I'm coming and going in the dark with a light on.
