Here California as a rule Doe's are off limits....
However there is one Zone over on the coast by Montery that has a Either Sex Draw....
And George a friend of mine and I where lucky enough to get drawn for the Tag....
The tag is good for around mid Oct to mid Nov.
And of course in that area Pigs are known to hang out, so ya carry a Pig also just to make sure....
Whis us luck........

The A22 area of San Diego is a "Either Sex" hunt also. I hunt it every year. good luck

I can smell the backstrap steaks frying now! Or is that BBQ'd pork I smell? Isn't it lunch yet?

I had an either sex tag on Camp Pendleton one year. If you find an area that has pigs, give me a shout, I'll help spot and drag em out. Semper Fi, Skip

Either sex or what? Food?

Mike you must've had some points stored up! We have an either sex deer hunt up here in Lake Sonoma I've been trying for and haven't got yet.
Hey, what's it like carrying a Pig while you're huntin fer deer? :bigsmyl:

I did the Hunter Liggett antlerless for a number of years before the tags became almost non-existent. There won't be good game management and doe/antlerless hunts in our state until the special hunt approvals are taken out of the hands of the county supervisors and placed entirely with DFG.
Oh ya, GOOD LUCK, hope you get a 2'fer!

Best of luck to you, Mike. I don't know, but it seems like mixing venison and pork makes pretty good breakfast sausage doesn't it?
