Just thought I'd share my personal thoughts on this tab. It is a great tab with a very smooth release! I will no longer shoot with a glove. In fact, I got rid of my last glove yesterday and will only be shooting with Fred's tab or my tab from Dan Toelke. If you are a tab shooter or would like to try one out, I highly recommend the Fred Eichler tab!

Did u shoot your tab. :D
It's a great, smooth tab, and would be all I would shoot, except I have a pretty good callous on my ring finger, and have been shootin a BW tab for some relief.
Just a couple words for those who have finger issues.
I have been using it for about 6 months now. I like real well.
Got the tab from 3 Rivers awhile ago , great tab. I like it. Maxx

I have a Fred Eichler tab and like it, but for me it's a bit too thin. I prefer the Black Widow tab, too, as I find it thicker and gives me a bit more finger protection and comfort than the Fred Eichler tab. Even so, I still use the Fred Eichler tab on occasion and keep it as a spare.
I've found the Eichler tab a little thin too for the same reasons stated above. I mostly rotate between a Bateman cordovan and a BW, but will use this one on occasion.
It would be nice to see this tab just a little wider at the bottom to protect the outside of the ring finger, and adding one more layer of leather for overall protection. Love the rubber backing...it's comfortable and is great for pulling arrows from 3D targets. And while were wishin'....maybe the black widow in cordovan?
Thanks, TW. I have that tab circled in my 3R catalog to try. I'm a glove man, but have a friend that "tabs" and likes it. I'll definitely try it now.
I can't tell from looking at the photos, but I prefer tabs with a finger spacer added.
I also use Fred's tab, shoots very well for me. Good clean, smooth release. I don't find it too thin, lets get a little better feel of the string. Personal preference. Don
Night Wing, it doesn't have a finger spacer.
I don't find it too thin either. I like the feel of the string and with my small hands, I don't have any issues of the string hitting the outside of any of my fingers. Obviously, like most things, it won't be for everybody but, worthy of mention.
I picked one up after reading positive things about it - it is very slick and has great release, no spacer and holds on from the finger thru. It is thin but the material is enough so you have no soreness from using it. I have others I prefer but would not get rid of it, good one to have.
Been using it for months and do like it, but I keep going back to my BW.
I've been using one for over a year and it's the best tab I've used
I used a Screaming Eagle for years but needed a new tab so decided to try the Eichler. I liked it so well I bought a spare. It is thin but that gives a better feel for the string. They are relatively inexpensive, last a long time and are readily available, plus they are easy to break in.
I've used one for over a year and really like it. I did add an extra layer of thin leather for a little more comfort. Piece of deer leather, Barge cement and its all good. Still thinner than a Bateman or BW.
