Very cool!
Looks to be a tough stumpin head.
He went treeing. Dang!
Nice video - thanks for posting the link!
Excellent. Good presentation.. I'll do it..
Yononindo is awesome....and how about that bowfishing video he has also !!!
:clapper:
interesting....but alot of work ... a judo point on a steel feral and a brass insert will do the same....alot less time and not all that expensive.... just my opinion....
But they won't look as cool as Yononido's! I love his videos, great work!!
Well videoed and excellent design as well.
cool vid!~
Very nice build along. Here in Brazil there are no archery shops, then we have almost aways to improvise. I'll take your idea some day.
Loved seeing the "field test".
I foot my shafts with aluminum and use brass inserts but agree a judo is just fine. It also says something about favorite small game head in print at the start, I would not want anything that impedes penetration on any small game I hunt other than maybe frogs. Shawn
Adding the outer footing, in my opinion, adds a LOT to the structure abilities of carbon and other hollow shafts. Well worth the time and effort for those using the arrows for stumping and small game hunting. I only use a 3/4 " foot.
Not quite as sold on the need for big game hunting arrows though.
There are lots of ways to do this, this is one. Thanks for the heads up.
