I'm getting hungry.
OK, first question, what's your secret recipe ;)
:no no: Just put them on the smoker but there is a twist.I have a friend who is 11 years old name is Cody who has brain cancer the top rick is for him he lovers Fatty's BBQ . (http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj10/longbowben/DSC06885.jpg)
The secrete is 1 hour 40 minutes uncovered and then wrap in foil for about another 3 1/2 hours or until the bones start to show.Later i will show this. The temp is kept around 260 deg. :D
I'm planning on doing some ribs this year on the grille so I'm taking notes.
There is lots of work to do and he is doing a great job.Eagleeye is having fun being the pit master.
Very cool Eagleeye and Ben. Might have to drift a little south and follow my nose to your place.
Keep showin us how Teacher!
Eugene if you are trying to do them on the grill you need to cover them with rub and keep the heat low and keep flipping them until they are golden brown and then wrap in foil.Keep turning them because its easy to burn them on the grill. The foil will make them super moist and they wont be dry.And it only takes about 1 1/2 hours on the grill.Try to make a wood chip container so they will get some flavor. :D
Now its time to check. (http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj10/longbowben/DSC06886.jpg) (http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj10/longbowben/DSC06888.jpg)
They look perfect now its time to foil. (http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj10/longbowben/DSC06889.jpg)

HHH,
You are a hoot, kid! Only fault I can find is that you've been slavin over a hot smoker for a couple hours and you ain't got a lick of smoke, soot or other dirt on your hands or face...
Now what kinda 9 yrs old stays THAT clean!???
Or did Mamma make you "wash up" afore each shot?
:notworthy:
Seriously! You are one special young man... love how you're thinking of your young compadre in his time of battle.
No wonder your Dad is so proud!
Looks really good.
Fantastic job there young man. Have your dad fetch you an ice cold Root Beer for the hard work you have accomplished.
I spent lots of time getting washed up.And thanks for all the kind things said.I will do this again next year.
Looks like they are done. I'm on my way over!
Advantages of living a couple blocks away. I smelled the smoke while I was mowing grass.

Eagleeye you are the man. Great work and thank for showing us the way. Now to find out that secret love you sprikled on them  :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
9? Respect!
Eagleeye, You made my day! :)
Eagleeye, if I was your school teacher I'd have you write a report, with the recipe in it, then we'd have a taste test for extra credit. Fine job!
The future of hunting, fishing and eating looks to be in pretty good hands. Now you've gone and done it though - next years bidding might get out of hand. But that'll be a good thing. Nice job, Eagleeye.
Any way to move this to Recipes for easy finding?
Good stuff!
 :clapper: :clapper: :clapper: :goldtooth:
when do you put the sauce on? right before the foil?
I'll be ribbing tomorrow. Also I have a bullet style grill with a broken thermometer. I can put a tray of water in to make for indirect heat.
When do you recommend I add the wood chips? right before the foil?
No sause on the ribs you dip the ribs in it if you want to.
Followed your directions!
They came out good! You were right, no need for sauce, glad I saw that before I went to the grill.
Perhaps some of the recipients will chime in later.
