This one got out for Spring Turkey on its 50th birthday. I let it down. It will be difficult to not get it out this fall and try to serve it well, but I haven't officially decided on the fall bow yet.

This Leon Stewart bow, with bamboo cores and brown glass is treating me real well. I have been shooting it the most this season, and it may be what I pick for the woods this fall.

Kiefer,
I live about 45 miles from Hamilton. You want me to just pick it up when it's done and break it in.
Who's building it? Howard Hill? Thunderhorn? Centaur? Trails End?
You have very nice Centaurs, Killie.
Here's my latest, a Kanati waiting to make some meat for me this fall:

I think this Silvertip will be my hunting bow this season? However, I just made a deal with 3 Trad Gangers that will bring a different one into play....who knows?

I used this 70's Bear Grizzly for a carp hunt this spring. I nailed the first one I shot at. Great old bow.

Well I didn't fare to well in the drawings this year no elk, no deer. I put this one together this spring, she is patterned from the old Rocky Mountain Recurve of the late eighties. The shorter one is an original and the longer the one I built. Might be the quietest recurve I have ever shot, really a fine shooting bow.

Wannabe1,
There's an old saying - "beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it". Likely applies to bows too. Good luck this year!
Killdeer and RLA beat me to it Adam. That is a wicked paint job on that bow. Is that a selfbow you built and painted yourself?

I was just checking this thread again and noticed my spelling error (and hoped no one else saw it). I scrolled down a bit, no such luck. Too funny Don, I figure if we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at. To answer your question, no carp or crap was eaten on this hunt.
Didn't catch it the first time, but laughing now!
